WordPress is damn cool.

They’ve added this cool feature, which allows the blog admin to set default avatars. If someone does not have an avatar on WP, they get a cool avatar, if the blog admin has set it. And it’s unique to each commenter(at least to each commenter’s IP). How cool.

One year of blogging

I realised today that I’ve completed One year of blogging. I started out with blogspot, moved on to WP and have stayed there since. Not that this blog has been very active or had a great deal of readers.

Also this is my 108th blog post.

Still One year. Yayness.

Looks like Google’s set its new round of PRs. newayz The Life and Times of Neelakantan is now ……….. PR 4. . Not quite the iwebtool predicted PR 5 but still…. its a start.

So I’m gonna put this little stat in the sidebar. Cheerio.

Blog Reviews and PageRanks

A few weeks back, Greg Stratz of ourblogreview.com dropped a comment asking me if I wanted to get my blog reviewed. I was interested and replied affirmative. He’s given me a rather positive review. Thanks Greg. ( Click here to read it )

Anyway, while wandering around some blogs reviewed on the site, I came across a tool called PageRank Prediction.. Just for a lark , I decided to check what my predicted PR would be and compared it with some of my friends’ sites. Here’s What I Got.

I was a bit sceptical but Sunny told me its quite accurate and reliable. so I’m hoping it is.
