I fired up Blender after quite some days to redo this project

Here’s the result. No doubt there can be many improvements. So, fire away.

  1. Sand.Man Says:

Yeah. Good stuff. How long did it take you?

  2. Parvathy Says:

like the painting on the wall…weird perspective on the scene tho..looks like a room tts sliding..

  3. Neelakantan K.K. Says:

    @Sandy, It took me half-an-hour. πŸ˜€

@Parvathy, Hmm… yes the perspective is not right. Also That’s “The Potato Eaters” by Vincent van Gogh.

  4. parvathy Says:

like the update…esp the floor texture is nicer πŸ™‚

  5. Rukmini Says:

Painting on the wall is cool. And no, you haven’t lost your readership. πŸ˜›

  6. monidipa Says:

with the fork so threateningly thrust into the apple, this could pretty much be ms’s favourite murder mystery cover. =D

  7. Neelakantan K.K. Says:

Ha ha, What would it be called? “Who ate my apples?”

  8. monidipa Says:

    the appleheart murder.

    blood on the blender table.

    the labyrinth of dark potatoes.

    macabrely shines the sun.

    how many you want? πŸ˜€

  9. Kaustav Says:

Since the table has a glass top, shouldn’t the shadow of the top be a tad faint and the dish’s shadow show through ?
Dunno, just a vague thought. The scene is nicely composed. GJ.

  10. Kaustav Says:

And yeah, also a faint shadow of the cup. Bah! Am being too critical. Nevermind, Good job.

  11. Prayag Says:

Indeed, Mandy is right. It is crime fiction cover material. But how would you explain the potty in the cup?

Bleh, can’t get this course out of my system.

  12. Neelakantan K.K. Says:

@Kaustav, true. There should be shadows as you mentioned. I left this scene midway. I have to get back to it now.

@Prayag, I don’t know. Maybe that’s how the murder was committed?
